Q: What kind of people attend Digital Biscuit?
Professional filmmakers, technologists and creatives who are working within or are interested in the entertainment industry. These include directors, producers, financiers, writers, animators, cinematographers, production designers, composers, VFX artists, title designers, technology officers, editors, actors, agents, commissioning editors and executives among others. Also professionals who are developing new technologies that might have an application or impact in the way we produce and experience on-screen storytelling.

Q: Wait I own the film industry, my dad is Clint Eastwood and I’m dating Lady Gaga, why do I have to buy a ticket?
Digital Biscuit is a non-profit initiative and our ticket price is matched to cover our running costs. We don’t make money and any excess generated by the event is re-invested in activities to support collaborations between film and technology.

Q: How can I apply to become a speaker at Digital Biscuit?
We welcome people to share their stories about various aspects of innovation in the production of creative content for the screen including: film, television, games, virtual reality, augmented reality, transmedia, distribution, monetization, marketing, financing among others. Also, we are always looking for savvy executives from leading film, television, games, media, advertising and entertainment companies to share their thoughts on leadership in their field. If you have a good story to tell that fits in the Digital Biscuit universe you can submit your idea via email.

Q: What's the easiest way to register for the Event?
The quickest and easiest way is to buy a ticket online and pay by credit card. 

Q: How do I connect with someone I know is going to the Digital Biscuit?
All attendees will be registered on the Digital Biscuit app launched early 2016 you can connect with fellow Digital Biscuit friends through the app. 

Q: When will the Official Speaker Schedule be announced?
The first group of speakers will be announced in early 2017. We will add information about our speakers to the website as they confirm. 

Q: Am I allowed to record sessions at Digital Biscuit?
Only attendees with press credentials will be allowed to record part of the sessions. If you are a member of the press and wish to cover Digital Biscuit, please contact our Publicist Sarah Harte.

Q: How can I buy a ticket to Digital Biscuit?
As soon as tickets are available for Digital Biscuit please visit the website of our trusted ticket partner eventbrite. Ticket availability is limited, so make sure you secure yours as early as possible.

Q: What's the maximum number of tickets I can buy per transaction? max. 10

Q: Can I buy a one-day pass to Digital Biscuit?
One-day passes are not available.

Q: Is the new sale first-come, first-served? 
Yes, the earlier you buy, the better. You will not only guarantee a place at the event but also pay less as ticket prices increase on a regular basis. 

Q: How will I know that my registration form and payment were received?
After you have ordered your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email as soon as possible. 

Q: Where will updated information be posted?
All updates will be available on digitalbiscuit.com

Q: I just found out I can't attend for a really good reason. Can I get a refund?
There are currently no refunds for the majority of events unless the event is cancelled. This is covered in the terms and conditions during purchase and is a standard set by the majority of promoters.

Q: How secure is my personal information?
Eventbrite our third party ticket operator has an SSL certificate.

Q: Is the sale mobile-friendly?
The site is mobile friendly, but we never recommend users conduct high value sales on a phone or tablet. When you do use a computer, please make sure your browser software is up-to-date. 

Q: Why was my purchase unsuccessful?
It's possible you entered incorrect credit card details or the account you are using has insufficient funds. Your expiry date may have been incorrect or you may not have entered the correct CVV number (AMEX). 

Q: I got an error message during the payment. What now?
If you get an error message during your payment, please click on the back button In the Order Process (not on the browsers' back button). You will then be able to try and pay for your tickets again. If you click the back button in your browser, your order will be cancelled and it will take you to the back of the queue.

Q: How can I pay for my tickets?
During the sale you can purchase your tickets with the following payment methods (please note that there are different costs involved for each payment method, you can see these costs in step 4 of the ordering process by clicking on the different types): Mastercard, VISA, Maestro, PayPal. Attention: If you pay with a Mastercard or Visa you have to fill in a security code.
